Dr Merrick Burrow
Academic
Merrick works on Victorian and twentieth-century popular fiction especially gothic, adventure, detective fiction and the spy thriller. He is particularly interested in the writings of Oscar Wilde and Arthur Conan Doyle, and with representations of masculinity.
